The project seeks to transport the viewer into the Arvo Pärt’s musical composition “Spiegel im Spiegel” (1978). In this project the musical score is translated into a spatial installation, framing the abstract and minimal Buitenwerkplaats´ landscape. Exposing music through a visual medium makes conscious the space that music occupies.

Óscar Valero Sáez (1977) is architect and visual artist from Spain. His artistic practice explores the musical structure of J. S, Bach and Arvo Pärt through a visual process. As his artistic research, he draws, sketches or writes in order to search for the simplest and most reductive structure.
