In my work I aim to strengthen our connections with the world by reflecting on how we inhabit landscapes. I investigate how people live ‘in place’ and how daily routines and rituals can create reciprocal relationships with our environments.

In this project I am deepening my ongoing personal research on learning to live with forests (again) through fieldwork in and around the Buitenwerkplaats. Life here at the studio in the garden with it’s non-human inhabitants has become an ongoing dialogue on entanglement and abundance in my daily routines. As a research tool I built a topographic furniture: a site-specific spatial installation turning my studio into an imaginary forest.
