I am currently working on the series ‘Of soil, stone and word’. In it, questions regarding the construction, destruction, display, exhibition and resignification of a historical site are explored through a body of work. It reflects the results of data and plastic research from the collection of different historical records, including material remains, newspaper articles and virtual postings of social networks about a chosen historical site. As a symbol of the city, its particularities of construction, use and symbology elucidate the process of local development. Often spaces of public use, fix and reveal patrimonial memory in different perspectives.
